I was born and raised in the South, where "southern chic" was de rigueur long before "shabby chic" came along and growing stuff from dirt was just the way you made groceries! Today, I'm a California girl who lives to dig, junque, cook, eat, read, and make things. Like my parents and grandparents before me, I've always got a project in the workshop and something growing in the garden. My style is a riff on the modern country farmhouse (on a budget). With a little jushing, vintage furniture and accessories can add charm and function to any home. And with a little TLC, plants and flowers bring the beauty of the outdoors in. At least that's the way we roll at Honeysuckle House. I look forward to sharing the imperfect beauty of organic elements and vintage furnishings with you.
